"GET TO MILE 18 on the run!"

Stats taken after run and before dinner, %water 70.4, muscle 39.3, bone 4.1. Pretty much followed the plan though I was going to go to the gym right after work but there was an accident on post blocking the way. So, decided just to run there, do strength, and run back. Then run to the track and do the interval workout. This worked out pretty well. Nice evening tonight with bright sunshine, pleasant temps, and low humidity...well, the last two are not very conducive to training in heat. Really is quite unusual weather we're having. If I could count on it continuing for the rest of the summer or even be at Louisville during the race, I'd be okay with it. Afraid it will be like Eagleman in 2008...cool leading up to the race and then blazing hot for the race. Well, deal with it when it's race day.

Tomorrow: Since different wheel and tire held up, an indoor CT ride, supposed to be Z2 for 1:30 except @ :50 insert 30 min Z4. Might do a light run afterwards.

8:39am:  I didn't think I was crabby this morning, but apparently I am, since my two co-workers immediately started annoying me and getting under my skin the moment I walked in the door.  Breathe, Laura.  Breathe.

Amazingly, I'm pretty far along on getting ready to leave on Saturday!  I've got errands to run today after work (bank, Target, library) and then I'm about done, with the exception of a small load of laundry tomorrow and the inevitable last minute packing of things I use every day.
Plan is to get a walk in tonight after I get home.  It's an Active Recovery day for PN, so that'll fit in nicely.

Crappy hip is sore today - not as bad as when it started bothering me originally but definitely worse than it was. Boo. My own fault though. Think I will try to get in for a massage somewhere but decisions decisions. My hair salon is having a special - $17.50 for a 30 min massage which is cheap. Or go back to the therapist who did such a great job on the tendonitis I had in my foot. Hmmm.
