1.2 mile fresh water lake swim in clear, blue Lake Winnipesaukee. This will be a wave start. There will be lifeguard and boat support. The water temperature in August ranges from 70 degrees F to 77 degrees F. Wetsuits will be allowed per USA Triathlon water temperature guidelines.
56 mile scenic out and back course with rolling hills. Most of course has a 6-10 foot shoulder. There are several challenging hills ranging from 3% to 9% grade. Watch out for the Marsh Hill Monstah! Course is not closed to traffic.
The 13.1 mile run is a scenic, 2-loop course along the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee with rolling hills. Look across the big lake, and see the majestic White Mountains fill the horizon. There will be aid stations approximately every mile, staffed with the best volunteers anywhere! Aid stations will be stocked to the brim with nothing but the best products available.
