I received my stuff yesterday too, but argh, it's too small, just barely.  Argh.  Hopefully, exchanging isn't too much of a PIA.

Your helmet?

I have a giro mtb helmet.  Both have the same sizing system.  I'm hoping that the helmet comes in true to size.  I've had enough trouble getting it here in the first place.

Yeah i went ahead and got the large even though i wear a medium in everything else. I heard they run small and i was right on the line between medium and large. I got mine yesterday and it seems to fit fine.

yeah, helmet.  I was right on the edge of small, but small is too small.

I'm right in between the M and L typically, but I took a chance with the M and it worked out for me.

FYI.  I just got a reply from Brooke.

It looks like she will be sending out an email later today (maybe tomorrow morning) on the situation with those of us who have the wrong size tri outfits.

Any mention of visors and socks?

She didn't say anything about the hat/socks.  Anyone?

Also, I started a thread over on the team zoot site, but if anyone needs a medium top (mens) and has a large, I would do the exchange.   Just send me a PM.  It looks like most people, though got things too small.  I already exchanged shorts with Mattliv.  I think I can make do with the medium top, but large would be more comfortable.

I'm in the same boat with my top being too tight.  Medium, need a large.  I'll see if stretches much when wet.

make that 3 - need large top, have medium.  I think I may put it up for sale first before I try to "break it in."  Its pretty tight, to the point its uncomfortable.  I'm bummed.

I think selling it would be a little inappropriate.  Maybe that's just me.

I am in the same boat, I can wear the top I have but it is tight, and I swam in it today at lunch, and it didn't loosen up at all. the shorts fit great, but man the top is tight? I am wondering if it is supposed to be that tight, (since I have never worn an actual tri top?)

Oh, I have a Large but need an XL. I am too broad at the shoulder and upper chest.

Seams to fit fine, with the zipper down! LOL

Anyone having problems with the durability of the Team Gear.  I've done one longish (3hr) ride and three short (1-1.5) hour rides and have used them in the pool 3 times.  While cleaning it after the pool last night I found two spots right under my sit bones that show significant signs of thinning.  Looks like I won't be wearing the bottoms very much longer.  Too bad too, they looked good.  Anyone else having a similar problem or do I have super sharp sit bones.  (looked at all my other tri shorts and have no other problems)

Well it is racing gear and you shouldn't be wearing it all the time, especially in the pool. I'll wear it once or twice before my race and then only on race days. Now obviously it shouldn't be thinning already, but why are you wearing it for rides and swimming?

Nothing new on race day right.  It still is tri gear I thought getting use to it would be more beneficial.  Didn't know "race gear" was so fragile.  It was only a couple of workouts, shouldn't be thinning yet.

Yeah you are totally right. It shouldn't be thinning at all. I just don't use any tri clothing until my races. I use bike shorts and jersey's and run in regular shorts. That is until a week or so before the race. Cause you are right, nothing new on race day.

It's probably the chlorine in the pool.  I don't wear andy of my tri clothes in the pool, just OWS.

I guess it could be the chlorine, I only wear tri clothes in the pool and have no problems until now.  Maybe Zoot is different than sugoi, xterra.  Well now I know it works and i'll just use it for the race year.  If it wears out I know I won't be the only Team Member without a uniform due to all the size problems out there.

Why are you using it as training gear? And why would anyone wear tri gear in the pool? Rookie

You have to check the fabric composition I learned.  If its majority Lycra, it will not fare well in a chlorinated pool--material will "shine" and thin out much faster.  Polyester will endure much longer.  So, now I purchase my swim jammers accordingly.

Visor and socks should be to everyone's door soon!  East coasters probably next week sometime.  I'll be sporting the tri suit and Advantage 2 this weekend for the first time in a race!  Hoping to do the Team proud by putting whatever is in my weak legs out on the course as the cyclist relay member for the Columbia Tri.

Then Eagleman 3 weeks after that (I'm so unprepared for that ......).

I have found the team suit pretty comfortable--and from the woman's perspective, the top works PERFECT for me.  Anyhow, haven't used it in a tri yet, but here is a pic I just got from the 1/2 Mary I used it on May 4th--the Heels and Hills 1/2 Marathon in Irving, TX.  Did the team proud with a 2nd AG placing, and top 10 women's finish with a PR of 1:38:48 or 1:38:24, I don't remember. Happy racing to all--will be glad to see what the visor looks like! I'll be wearing this next at the Buffalo Springs 70.3 at the end of June! My first HIM!

That's a fantastic time!  Congrats!

There was a woman wearing hers at Boston and I was jealous since I still hadn't received mine yet.  She looked great passing me!
