I'll be riding down from Fountainm Hills. Assuming I get a 7:00am start, I should see you all heading the other way somewhere along McKellips/McClintock. How many riders should I be looking for? I'll be the only guy going the opposite direction at that time in the morning.

I'm guessing there will be 7-10 of us (unless more people from Az Tri Club show up than I'm aware of).

We'll be following the exact race course...I can't remember the street names....I have to make a map still.   I'll be looking for you on McKellips.

You can be or my friend Steve a call also while getting closer (if needed).

Well, it looks like I am a scratch for the race.  Training has been way too inconsistent the last three months due to illness, injury and mostly the AZ bar exam.  The conditioning is just not there - as has been proved by the workouts I have completed the last couple of weeks since FINALLY putting the bar exam behind me.

I am so bummed and pissed - I didn't want the bar exam to interfer with doing IMAZ.  Well, I am registered and WILL be doing IMWI '08 in September (second time at that race - '07 was first IM).

I will be at the race and screaming support for all doing the race - especially the first time IMers.

Good Luck Everyone.

Sorry to hear it, but IM is something you don't mind doing twice.  Taking the bar exam?  Not so much.  I think your priorities were in order.

Sorry to hear that Tim. I'm sure you're bummed and it wasn't an easy decision. But at least you have IMWI to look forward to! And with the bar exam behind you it will be much easier to focus on training. We'll be cheering for you online in September!

Has anyone come up with a Bib #, First Name list?

Since I'm working RSN, I figured if I had a cheat sheet I might have a chance
to cheer people by name instead of either number or screen name.

I'll have a full report up later, but here are the pictures I took.

I didn't get many...it was a busy day. Got Harry and Stephen once each. Got to yell
out to Clint, but rarely had time to look up. Good job to everyone.

Those were the boxes for special needs bag. I'll have a "race report" up on Monday that lays out my day.

Anybody out there that could use a training partner for IM Arizona 2009 that lives in Dallas?

I could use a partner for the long bike rides, long runs, etc.

If anybody's interested, lemme know.

Peace and love.
