And rumor has it this race has some pretty cool volunteers too .

Actually, I've never done this race, but I've volunteered at it and it's a great race. CGI puts on an awesome event, and it's a beautiful course . Also, it's closer to Philly/South Jersey than you may think !

I'm guessing it's the up that's scary...no one complains much about a nice downhill.

It's a pretty, rolling course, with nothing too tough (in my opinion). The hill on the video is on the Olympic course and not the sprint. Personally, I prefer some hills

Larry, are you involved in the planning of this tri, or in the website? I'm just wondering when they'll add some sprint-specific content to the site. I've gotten some info from the race director, but it needs to be on the website for others!

True story. I have no idea what I'm going to be doing this summer job-wise so it's hard to know what I'll have time to train for. Maybe I'll do the sprint...

I'm the race director. I have all the course maps done but I need to meet with the police chief one more time to confirm everything so I don't want to put them up yet. We're using almost exactly the same course as last year so I'm not expecting a problem...just want to be sure.

Very well. I would expect about 500 olympic and 400 for the sprint. We'll close it at 900 no mater what the breakdown is but Olympic people tend to sign up earlier.
