Have you been sick (chronic coughing)?? (Page 2)

As of 3 days ago I can't stop coughing. Going to make my swimming drills/training rather difficult.

I've been sick twice this winter. Nothing terrible the first was a cold that persisted for three or four days and the second I had some flu-like symptoms but no fever. Certainly cuts in on the training and work...

Let us know how that "herbal cough syrup" works for you....

Just today I started to cough for no reason whatsoever... so I hope that this is not what it is!    Get better everyone!

Same here, just check my blog.  It hasn't affected my training too much, I just don't have the energy for hard efforts.  And I nearly cough up a lung when I'm finished. 

week and a half into it. worst part is the night hacks...specially since my wife, daughter, son, and newborn all have it...ask me if i have slept lately.

I had the same deal for a few years in a row.  I would start coughing and continue for literally two to three months.  Finally, my doc said it had to be some type of allergy because I didn't feel bad, just coughed all the time.  He prescribed Singulair taken daily.  Have not had another cough attack since.  Now, I just take it during times of the year when pollen is around, etc.  But, January is a high month for mold in the air (at least around here) so it could be allergies.  My 2 cents...
