Hey, all of you who have done this race before... what are at the aid stations in the way of food and drink? I would like to try doing a long run with available foods... to know that they will work for my apparently delicate GI system during the race!

Water and Gatorade Endurance at all of the aid stops. There are a few (2 - 3) stations with CarbBoom gels. I usually end up bringing my own gels.

Ew, I'm not a fan of gels. Maybe I'll bring my own stuff... shot blocks or a luna bar or something...

I'm excited that all my LOOOOOOOOONG training runs are over! Hooray for tapering!
I'm also excited that I feel pretty strong (although SORE today). I'm going to be ready! How's everyone's training coming?

I'm making a dinner reservation at a little Italian place for Sat night before the marathon and half. It will be Jen (Artemis) and her hubby, myself and my husband and anyone else that wants to join us. I'll probably make the reservation for 5:30pm. It's a great place and they have the best chocolate dessert called a bomb. If anyone else wants in let me know in the next day or two.

The bomb itself is totally worth going to dinner for. Not to mention you get to meet Sue and me.
