Was there a thread that I missed about the sprint and olympic distances of longhorn being moved to Galveston instead of Austin?

I believe it is the HiFi tri now at moody gardens off the top of my head.  I believe it changed since longhorn went to an official IM70.3 race.

Although Keith did also say not to count out the possibility of a return of the sprint distance to Longhorn.

Sorry for the delay. Ironically, I've been in Galveston for the past 4 days, working on Lone Star and Hi-Fi Tri stuff....

Gonna ROCK!!!!!!

Yes, the sprint and Oly at Longhorn have moved to Galveston, as part of the new Hi-Fi Tri.
I just have a very strong feeling towards Galveston, the city officials, Moody Gardens, etc. They're fantastic to work with, and we feel really welcome.

In addition, I think it's a fantastic place for a race, and one of the most unique venues anywhere.

Longhorn is going to be difficult enough, with the Ironman 70.3
