Top 10 Nintendo Games

Pretty good list.  I never got into Metroid or Zelda, though.   I think Ninja Gaiden should be on that list.   Also some of the later Castelvania and Double Dragon games were better than the originals. 

I loved Tecmo Bowl.  If you picked the right team, the game was SOOO rigged.  There was a Bears (I think) player that could simply outrun everyone else in the game by a LONG margin.

I played Metroid quite a bit after I got my Nintendo for xmas.  I killed all 3 of the underbosses, but I never actually finished the game.  I could walk into the final showdown fully loaded and always ended up dying before that brain-thingy.  (Now I'm going to YouTube to see if I can find the closing sequence)

Skate or Die was also a big one on my list.

In our argument discussion, we dropped ninja gaiden, mega man 2 and paperboy out of the top 10....definitely top 20.

The funniest part of the discussion was how many games we came up with...and I am talking about all those random games too 

-Tecmo bowl would definitely be on the list.  Bo Jackson was a god in this game, he could run over the entire defense.

-Original Hockey was great.  The one with the 3 sizes of guys to build your team with.

-Baseball Stars was the 1st baseball game (I believe) to allow you to run a season and improve players, we were amazed by this.

All time favorite was Super Dodge Ball

RC Proam, Baseball Stars, and the surf/skateboard one.

Exactly!  That was a blast.  We played that so much we'd have to take it out and blow air into it every few minutes...

nothing really new to add.  Everyone has said the ones in my top 10.   I will list my top 5 though

1. Mario 3 -  best graphics and secret stuff of all the marios (NES). 

2. Excitebike-  I loved to make my own track

3. Mike Tyson's Punchout-  Got me hooked on the nintendo

4.  RC Pro Am-  I loved racing games and this one was awesome

5.  Tetris-  Most addictive game ever

I never really got into Zelda. 

On a related note... the all-time worst NES game-    Super Mario 2....  really, what was the point of that game???

Of course, that was the two player code!  Splash or machine gun?  I was partial to machine gun.
