Curious what the BT community's reaction is to this. Saw an article in the NY Times this morning with the conclusion that "Research suggests that stretching does not affect soreness or risk of injury during exercise."
I think much of the information coming out lately indicates that as long as you warm up adequately prior to excercise (to avoid the muscle damage/straining), there is no real indication to stretch prior to, and that stretching is better performed after excercises, once the muscles have warmed up.
