Piece #4 is the one that I screw up. I'm always surprised at just how good I feel at the start of the marathon, and then try to run beyond my capabilities. That is until about an hour later when my body starts breaking down.

Our coach forwarded us this article the day we started our final 12 week build for IMAZ. I made a remider and put it on my bike.

Reminds of an article I read that said that "Half Ironman" is a misnomer. It's nothing like being 1/2 way done with an Ironman. It went on to quote Dave Scott who said "An IM (Kona) doesn't start until mile 80 of the bike."
