This is my first year of tri-ing as it were so I have not raced the course. I do live in the area and if it is following the route I am told it does it is fairly flat with long gradual hills. Should be very fast. Due to a schedualing conflict I won' be competing in this years either. There is the Eagle River Tri, and the Xterra "Hammerman" that i plan on entering in June and July respectively

I have participated in the Northern Trust Tri the last 2 years and it is a great Olympic distance race.  I plan on participating/racing again this year. Dont know if you have had the opportunity yet to ride the bike course but it is pretty flat, not pancake flat but no hills to worry about. And the run isn’t too bad either, a little bit of trail running for the first half.
