Subject: Garmin 405 vs 305?
Ok, I did a search and came up with one thread that kind of compared the two.

From the sounds of it, the Garmin 405 will not do a multisport workout. Which means if I did a brick, I couldn't track, let's say the bike. Right?

Otherwise, the Garmin 405 looks smaller (which I need because I have a very small arm), but otherwise, it is pretty much the same as the 305. Right? Well, and it's about $100 more.

So, has anyone bought and used the Garmin 405 yet?

I love the multisport mode but really it is more for races IMO.  When you are in bike mode for instance it shows all speeds in mph and in run it shows min/mile.  So if you do a brick and start in bike mode and then go to run it automatically switches to run mode and then breaks your workout up.  I am assuming with the 405 you can still switch between modes it just takes a few seconds.  Personally I doubt I would get the 405 since it is so much more expensive than the 305.  I really don't notice the size of the 305 and when I bike I mount it to the bike anyways.
