Swim 1.5 km
Bike 40 km <---- usually how much do you bring to drink
Run 10 km

What's your hydration strategy?

A small bottle, that's about it for me.  I'll drink that during the bike (if I remember).  Then I might take a quick drink on the run at one of the water stops.

I bring two bottles which is probably around 45oz give or take depending on bottles. The first olympic I did, someone told me I only needed one and well I cramped all during the run. So I learned my lesson and now bring two. Also, I won't drink all of the 2nd one but I'll get a good ways into it.

I always drink more than I think I need, this has yet to hurt me. Infact I've done my best runs when I came off the bike feeling like I just barely took too much in on the bike.

But in Vancouver.. I may be able to get away with 1 bottle. Down here I don't think there is anyway I can just drink one and not cramp.

I'll be bringing 2 small bottles + my aero bottle for my race this weekend.  Very hilly and, oh yeah, it's gonna be 99 frickin' degrees out there.

Depends on the temps, but I would do at a minimum the aerobottle and a large bike bottle.  If it is warmer, a second bike bottle.  Not to say I would drink it all, but I would have it.

20 oz in the aero bottle on the bike and may grab a little something at an aid station if I am thirsty

Been debating this very question for my 29 mile Du stage this weekend. I've settled on one 22 oz bottle. If I drink too much I tend to get sloshy and lethargic when I run.

I base how much I bring on temp and my sweat rate. My tri this weekend is 29 mile bike, I sweat about 46 oz an hour...hope to drink about 50-60 oz..so I'll fill my aero bottle up, bring a Gatorade Endurance full and one half full.  May vary that depending on the weather.

If I don't drink enough or take in enough sodium I cramp on the run.

Goal is to take in 350 calories, 2000 mg of sodium, and at least 46 oz of fluid..that is my plan.

I usually drink enough on the swim to last until the run...

Seriously...I usually only bring one 24-oz bottle and I drink most of it.  I'll drink several cups of water during the run.
