Sorry I couldn't be there to cheer you all on or race, but I heard today was a great race with a ton of BT turnout (I had one of my operatives there and she let me know that a good time was had by all even though she couldn't do the duathlon). Heh.

Congratulations to all the folks that finished their first (jenn, Alaina's man), or just gave it hell in general, and those that got a little sumthin' sumthin' in AG....outstanding work on a hot, wet, moist day in the jungle.

Hi all...meant to drop by the tent to say hi today, but was running a little behind in the morning. Then right after the race we got in line for a massage and when we got done, everybody had packed up for the day. Will try harder next time, or I might make try making it to an ILRA workout.

Brutal course, but we're lucky that the storms cleared. But I think my retinas are still shot from sighting into the sun on the swim back!

Hope to meet you all soon!
Cheryl

I forgot to bring the camera into work, and the storms knocked out my innerweb connection at home.  I'll get them up tonight or tomorrow morning.

I'm crispy fried and reflecting on the lessons from the day.  I learned a few things about myself.  Details to come in the RR later.

Great job to the first timers, Jenniferlyn, Dave, and Ryan.  Of course to the others too, including "Miss Hardware with a finish line imposter from Chicago."

Ouch, I need another nap.

Congrats all who finished. Sorry I missed most of you...I looked and all I could find was Trixie (of course) and Robyn (holy Robyn...you rawked the thing!). That was one tough run, eh? Holy crap!

How'd everyone do?

Me: 9/21 age group, 224/417 overall. I'm happy with that, considering that during the run, I felt like I was in last place.

That was a bit rough yesterday. I was kind of down on my performance, but realized it was tougher for nearly everyone this year. Good to meet and see some of you. Next time I need to meet this legendary Runnergirl. TriOk - I really wanted to run with you up those hills, really. See y'all at Big Fish.

The only thing tougher than the run course was looking at the t-shirt...that is one ugly shirt...purple with royal blue and yellow trim...who picked that?

Have you ever gotten a race shirt that was cool?  I can think of one or two, and those are long course tech shirts

I don't know if you can call it running... I am pretty sure I was doing a lot more cussing than actual running.

Hey all!

I am writing this from Wisconsin (North Woods area - up by the Upper Penninsula)so I have to keep this short as I am doing audits all week - but I wanted to say WAY TO GO to everyone and I wanted to give a HUGE but not nearly huge enough thank you to each and every one of you for everything these past 6 months.

My tri finsh was not without the pain of working for it - but the second I heard you all scream for me when I came down the... all the pain in the world went away and  I was with friends.  Without whom I would very well not have been able to accomplish this!

YOU ALL RAWK!

I will see you all starting this weekend again - Saturday AM in Trout Lake, 8AM for any takers!
