Subject: Bike rentals in/near Fresno?

My husband and I are coming to Fresno for a wedding next month and we have a whole day to kill before the wedding. We were thinking how cool it would be to ride while we're there but can't afford to take the necessary steps (buying travel cases, bringing them on the plane) to bring our own. We'd probably prefer mountain bikes but we're not super picky, any bike is better than no bike! Thanks!

I'm not sure where you can rent bikes in Fresno, but I can tell you some good places to ride if you find bikes. There is a Performance Bike in Fresno, I don't think they rent, but they might have a good idea where you can.

Can't help with bike rentals, BUT when you find a bike you should ride on the Clovis bike trail. It's paved and separate from the road and goes for 15-20 miles.  It's a great way to get around own in a not so bike friendly city.

Thanks for your replies. I think we're going to take our daughter and head up to Yosemite for the day. (and rent bikes!)
