First and favourite: 1978 Honda CVCC. 5 speed with 1600cc of high output fun. I could  powershift through to 4th gear still squaking the tires. Stupid Fun times. Lucky I'm still alive in spite of it, though, but yeah...fun times.

My very first car was a grandparent hand me down. It was a 1970 Pontiac Catalina 4 door. This car had to be 12 ft. long. AKA the Blue Bomb.

I love to drive my current car...a 1994 Toyota Paseo...a pocket rocket. It has a back seat but I can't put my shoes on the floor with the front seats all the way back.

My favorite of all time was my 1972 Buick Skylark. It looked just like a 1972 Chevelle.

'64 Buick LeSabre. It actually was owned by my parents, but it was primarily my car to use in high school. It only had 36K miles on it when we got it. Amazing. That car had some punch.

Favorite? I'd have to go with the '88 Subaru wagon. Shift-on-the-fly 4WD...

First: 1982 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale Brougham Sport Coupe (aka silver submarine); a hand-me-down from my mom

Favorite: 1987 Chevy Camaro that my parents surprised me with.  They said they were going to the Chevy dealership to buy me a used Cavalier and that they would deliver it to me at work.  That night, while I was at work (at a movie theater), a co-worker came up to me and said "Your dad is here, and you will never believe what he has with him."  I walked outside and there was a brand new Camaro.  I about pooped my pants.

My first was my parents 82 volvo.  I should have NEVER traded it.....

Tough on the second question.

My current Acura TL is SCHWEET!  Comfy, fast and pretty.

BUT, my ford explorer and I had some fantastic adventures together, camping, snowboarding, MTN biking.  LOTS of road trips....

First: '74 Ford Maverick, with a 302.

Favorite: Hmmm, I've liked all of my cars.  The Maverick was fun, tinkering with the 302, welding my own dual exhaust system, setting off car alarms.  Also loved the '95 Mustang GT ( last year of the 5.0L ).  That was fun to drive.    And my current car, '04 Mitsubishi Outlander fits 2 bikes, 2 people, and gear easily, and gets better gas mileage.  It's not super sexy, but it lets me do what I need/want to do.

First car = 1993 Saturn SL2. It was plastic!

Favorite car = my current car,  a 2006 Toyota Solara convertible.

It *is* sexy. Wink

Especially with the bike rack on the back.

How does that work for you?

I love the FJ but the door to the back seems awfully small for growing kiddies.

How is the mileage?

Bad hijack I know sorry!

just my son and I.....two bikes two kayaks so it works well.  The bikes have to go on a rack in the back...both dont fit well in the backend without dingin each other a bit or take off the front wheel.  Gas miles suck but its a cute car!

First: 1980 Mustang. Straight six POS but took all the abuse a 17 year old could dish out.

Favorite: 2001 Mustang Bullitt. Had one, sold it to my sister to make room for daughter #2. Traded in the Lunchbox (see avatar) for another one six months later. EXACTLY the same. Some cars just "fit" right, and I won't be selling this one.

Close runner up: 1965 Mustang coupe. Had it for seven years, been apart for the last four. Drivetrain and fuel injection from '93 Cobra, 4 wheel power disc, Shelby suspension set up, rack and pinion, too much else to remember. 90% done. I have to paint it and finish assembly, but house/family/etc. leave little time. I wanted to see if I could build my own car, so I did.

Yes, I have a Mustang problem. Had seven of them. In-laws think I'm nuts. Sometimes I do, too.

1972 Ford Cortina,  foreign compact  station wagon.   Standard on floor.  Had straight line 4 cylinder and about 80 hp.  Got about a 35 mpg but only had a 8 gallon tank.   Rear wheel drive, often driving sideways down snowy roads.  Smelled like rat pee for the entirety of a winter when the heater was on.  We broke the frame driving to Lake Placid one winter during college.

RIP.
