Random question...

Anyone have any idea when will the 2009 B2B registration open? It looks like it sold out relatively fast for this year...

Also, if I register for the full and training goes sour, can I drop down to the half?

I'm thinking CDA in 09 is out, but I like the idea of B2B

I would assume it would be like this year and all of the other SETUP events, and would be on or near Jan. 2nd.

Hope this helps.

The course for the 1/2 starts at the battleship and takes you over 2 bridges across the river to downtown Wilmington. The bridges are hills, not too bad for the first two because they are at the start. The rest of the course is flat, goes around Greenfield Lake which is scenic and shaded. The toughest part is the last bridge which comes at mile 12, and then when you come off the bridge there is a slight incline before you get back to the battleship, but it feels like a bigger hill at that point. I would guess that anyone who lives somewhere where there is hills would have no problem.

Hey thanks Nick, that is helpful.

I hope to check it out when we vacation at White Lake but I am not sure I'll get to.

Doing great.  Just finished my last long brick.

Now, if I can just stay healthy for the next 2 weeks (kow) then I'll be ready to go!

Thanks for the heads up. When did they decide that? Been mulling over doing the full next year. I'm looking forward to reading all the race reports!

I don't remember where I read it.  In one of the communications or at the event website.
