My legs were burning at the start of the bike, but that started to go away after a while. I drank some gatorade and ate a clif bar on the bike. My legs could just not pedal any faster today!
What would you do differently?:

maybe not bike 100kms the day before?

my legs cramped up from the knee down for the first lap, so I walked it off a couple times. took in some gatorade, as I didn't know what else I should do. Slowly the cramping was less and less, by the last lap i felt great!

Hey nice race this weekend.  Looks like you had some of the same issues as me on the run, but your leg was numb and for me it was my Brain.
