Just a foot note on the jersey thing. When I did in HHH in '06 we got a shirt and a water bottle. You had to buy the jersey. If I remember correctly you could purchase the previous years jersey at a discounted price, but the current year jersey was full price. I think they went for about $75.

Just a F.Y.I.

Ouch.  I'd rather spend 75 on that jersey than another one.  It comes with character. (after the raceSmile

Peach Pedal in Weatherford this w/e has a 100k. Think it will be a good ride in prep for the HH100.

Just checked out some reviewd from last year's Peach Pedal.  I am really surprised that they included that link on the site since the majprity of the reviews were very negative.  Bad roads, pooly stocked aid stations and poorly marked course.

Most people said they would not do this ride again.

It's the day before my 41st and this year we'll be in TX.  Fair to middlin' I'll come up and ride.  Did the 50 about 13 years ago and until Longhorn tri, that was my longest ever.  Have always wanted to go back and do the full distance.

I rode 77-miles last Sunday with a brand new rider. He only did the 55-miles in longer time, and had the nerve to complain about me asking him if he was okay ( a bit more than he would have liked).

I heard someone was supposed to ride 90 tomorrow.  Else I'll combine a few of the loops from the Collin Classic ride and go out on my own in the morning.

Anyway - going to go for the gusto - will be my first century, like - ever.

Hope to see you there - I am carpooling - which is a first - most people bail  on me when it comes to carpooling.

Okay gotta go walk the dog and talk to my daughter.

I'll be at the start line as far forward as I can get.  I'll be on a yellow felt with a yellow jersey and a black and yellow helmet.  I'll be riding with alot of other guys all in yellow jerseys as well, so flag me down if you see me!  Have fun & hope to see some of you.
