I like how its a beach start, rather than a treading start where everyone going from vertical to horizontal all at once, my eye sockets still hurt.

CoreDump, I still always laugh outloud every time I see that.

In regards to the video, what was up with the swimmer in the green cap at the bottom of the screen swimming before everyone else?

This commercial cracks me up everytime.  I'm considering adding this to my regular training regimen.

CdA is two loop swim.  The Pro start is 35' before the AG start.  That's so that the pros are on the second lap before 2100 AGers churn up the lake.  The green cap was on of the slower Pros starting their second lap.

Wow...that is just a crazy start.  I'm more comfortable with OWS, but no where near ready for that.

WOW!! That is crazy! And to think I was in that mess! Well, not really, I was way to the right!
Kathy- I got really nervous about the swim too, and was actually trying to figure if I would be better off just waiting on the beach a few mintues before starting! Then I decided it was all part of the experience and jumped in!

When they flashed back to the start, there were still people that were not in the water or not swimming yet.

I remember watching a video of IMFL and it took over 1:30 to get most everyone in and swimming.

Perhaps a bit extreme, but it never hurts to be prepared.
