Subject: Weight training during taper I enjoy lifting weights and was wanting insight on continuing a weight program ( low weight circuit format style of lifting ) through IM taper. Throughout my IM training I have tried to get in as much weight lifting as possible as it's a stress reliever for me and am contemplating continuing it through taper. "IF" I continue it I will only be doing my upper body in a circuit training style format as to not harm the legs. So my question is this, through either experience or opinion is this a good idea? I certainly don't want to jeopardize the last 7-8 months of IM training but would love to continue if possible. Just as a disclaimer, I am not worried about the swim for IMKY as I have been competetively swimming my whole life.
