Swim
Comments: Could not settle down and the traffic in the water and lack of a wet suit bothered me greatly. I never got a smooth cadence going. Transition 1
Comments: I was a little upset after the swim and thought after all the training and bullshit I am just not good at this and I felt like quiting!! I knew I would regret it so I kept going but in many ways I never really recovered and was in survival mode. What would you do differently?: I am going to start practing this. Bike

Post race
Warm down: Walked around to cool down and drank a sprite and a bottle of water What limited your ability to perform faster: I host of things. I need to work on getting food down in the morning before a race. All I had was one bite of a granola bar. I also did not settle down on the swim so I came out of the water tired and upset. We know my bike problems. Lastly, I ran much slower that I would have expected. I guess part of it is I felt broken from the poor swim. Last updated: 2008-03-05 12:00 AM
