Subject: IMAZ Captain needed

With 118 days left till IMAZ in Tempe, Judy Stowers and Roch Frey (Coach from Ask Coach articles in Triathlete magazine) have started their solicitation for prior captains to jump on board and start the eating and drinking (err - I think I mean race planning meetings!)

As many of you from the AZ BT team either were in the race, or supporting the race this year - you know how much fun it can be.  However, I will be unable to fulfill my role as captain and SAG vehicle #1 this year (sadly I will be forced to swim/bike/run the distance).  However, I could use a quality stand-in.

Therefore, if any of you would like to step up for this community event and replace me in the drinking, eating, free goodies, and maybe even an orange light that lets you go anywhere on course - please either post a reply or pm me your interest.  NA sports would like to know by Aug 6th if possible!

 

FYI - Race date is November 23, 2008!

+1, as I'll be joining Jerry for the all you can eat sufferfest.

If someone wants to step up for Run Special Needs I'll be available to
help answer questions.

No question ESCKTC does more than our share of Captaining.

I'm not volunteering, but would like to help any way I can.  I'm not doing this race, but would love to support ESCKTC and BT.   I'm not experienced enough to be coach, but i have a big truck and can be a SAG driver.

I signed up as volunteer on their webpage. I can't make it to any of the pre-race meetings (other than the ones the day before) so I wouldn't be a good captain/drinker/eater.

I can't do it as I won't be able to volunteer until the late shifts since El Tour is day before (so that also means I will miss any meetings). But I will be there to do lots of cheering!!!

I think in this case quantity is a better attribute - they get the quality from they guys that get paid!
