OUTSTANDING! Tri training may have given you the stamina to do what you did but the character was long imbedded.

Hi BT and readers!

I want to say thank you for all your kind comments. The rescue was really a case of right people, right place, right time (and right training!) but the recognition has become surreal. I am truly happy to have been able to help out fellow mountain lovers in their time of trouble - after all it can happen to anyone. Thank goodness also to the triathlon training - I am indeed a Beginner - this is only my second year in the sport, and so far it has been a great experience. All of the community has been very helpful, friendly and welcoming, and I love this aspect of the sport as much as the personal challenge and competition.
