I got up early had a bunch to eat and drink, but I spread it out over a couple of hours. I gathered up my stuff(I packed it the night before) and, after picking up Maneesh, I headed to Steward Park.
1 hour before start: finished off a water bottle, used restroom and but on my swim suit.
50 minutes before start: put on sunscreen
45 minutes before start: started stretching
25 minutes before start: put on wetsuit
20 minutes before start: warmup swim, took a look at the finish line from a hundred yards out.
5 minutes before start: went out to start line and began treading water.
