Congrats, Kevin.  Super bike leg as usual.  Looks like John Salt and his crew came prepared this time for the swell and was able to quickly switch to Plan B for the river swim.

Nice work there young man...All those brain fart, it must really stink in your head!!!

I like how you kept your wits about you on the swim and were then able to transition into a great ride - despite forgetting what your bike looked like.

Wetsuit stuck? Try Pam or Crisco on your ankles and calves before you put the suit on (no petroleum based lubricant - too easy for me to say any more...

Your bike skills continue to impress me.

Your run was great, I can't imagine running on sand like that.

You took all the negative and positive experiences you had this year and synthesised it into a fantastic end of season performance.

I'm so proud of you!

Wow Kevin, I'm so glad you had a great race. That was fantastic. Apart from the brain farts you kept you head an raced YOUR race. You must be so proud.

I'm inspired all over again. Great run too.

One hell of a race! Congratulations! All went well in spite of a couple of farts (thanks for that word association). What a way to end the summer!!!

Btw, I use shea butter (African tree product) for the wetsuit - brilliant too and cheap (here). $5.- for a pound or so at the market. Exactly the same consistancy as Body Glide (which costs a lot).

I am again amazed at the bike speed, but now, knowing your background wouldn't even try to make it my goal...  What can I say - AWESOME!

Nice race! And excellent race report...how do you remember so much detail?

Congrats on a great season - you did awesome this summer!

(and what's wrong with getting to the site 2.5 hours early...I do it all the time, but I'm a little type-A and obsessive-compulsive...)

Congratulations, Kevin!!  Great job and a fantastic way to end the season.   I have brain farts during races, too.  I felt like that last weekend.
