Comments: Not a lot to say. Started running and didn't stop. Passed everyone in front of me that I could see. Had the Mayor pacing right beside me and John just a fee strides behind. I felt like stopping or at least slowing down, but I was too committed. I fought with myself - with those mind games: "walk! you need to walk!" I just shut those voices out. I just leaned a little forward and gave'er! When it started to hurt, I just pushed harder. Sprinted to the finish. What would you do differently?: Perfect run...You know, I could probably go faster. This scares me, because there is no turning back now.  Post race
