I do believe that dairy cows really don't hate being milked. IF they weren't milked, then they'd get overly full and it hurts the udder. Anyway I dye grass.

Anyway. If we do go through with this, can we milk The Bear?

Like women cows only produce milk when they have young to feed. So having a dairy cow that produces milk for a lifetime is, well, not natural. So if you are forcing a cow to lactate for a lifetime, yes, like a woman it will need to express that milk, but it shouldn't really be lactating anyway. I won't get into HOW they keep a cow lactating for a lifetime but, really, its not natural or "humane."

As for PETA they have stated that they are VERY extreme to get peoples attention, the point really is to get the issue on the table. Is it possible for women to actually supply breastmilk for icecream, yeah..no. But it got you thinking right??? Thats the point, whether you agree with them...good press, bad press, its press! They are definitely the most prolific of animal rights groups BY FAR!

OOPS! That was actually my post above, but I am sure my husband, Robot would agree!

As for the whole women for PETA issue, the most recent ads I recall were Paul McCartney and Tommy Lee. Just a thought!
