Subject: Advice on Biking /Running Group

I have volunteered myself to chair my neighborhood women's biking and running group.  There has never been one before and I am pretty new to biking and runnning myself.

I thought it would be good to have some local races (mostly running) that we could all work towards doing and since the snow is about to fly here, we would wait for the biking portion until spring.  Any ideas on how we could log runs and how it might be best to run this group.  It is going to be very casual, but I hope it gets more women out there.

Your advice and input is appreciated!

Tracy

We are trying to start a tri group here. The we are not only emphasizing the training aspect of it but also the social. We have only had one meeting and another one is planned so I don't have much advice for you right now.

I got invited to a local women's cycling group - very informal - all levels of athletes. They formed a Google Group to plan the rides and such. It works well for planning, but not for logging. You should invite them HERE to log their workouts of course!
