Very promising comeback race for me, so I couldn't be happier - although I would have DEFINITELY preferred warmed weather. I made a slight strategic error in my pre-race fluid consumption as I replicated what I did in '05 (when it was 70F+). This was a little too much on Sunday as I had to make a pit-stop at ~14mi. With that, my final 10K was 2+mins faster than '05 & w/o the 1+min pit-stop, I actually negative split.

I'll have my RR done in the next day or so & will post the link if anyone is interested. Congrats to everyone who raced!

Amazing job everyone! I finally got my RR up last night. I had a lot to say and didn't want to miss the important stuff. I want to look back in 6 months and remember it. What an amazing day. I set a PR by 57:00 and did my first sub-4, finished in 3:58:14. It's better than I could ever have hoped for.

I look forward to reading all the RRs!

It was my first marathon and 10 minutes after I told my family my last! I finished in 3:25:39, but i fell short of my sub 3:20 goal. Two things contributed, I think I should have did over 21 in training and i just went out too damn fast. I got caught up in all the excitement.

One thing I had never seen in a race though is all the people urinating on the sides of the roads and bridges... tht was just wrong!
