Run
Comments: Felt good at the start (what's new?), but my pace was too fast. There were some decent hills (mostly in the middle of the course, but also towards the end) and the early pace simply left me with not enough 'legs' to get up these comfortably. Time is off my Garmin (might have a few 'extra' seconds on it as a result) as I never saw any posted results. Know I won my AG and pretty sure I was somewhwere in the top-10 overall, but it wasn't a terribly deep field. What would you do differently?: Go out slower (but I say this all too often in these shorter runs). Post race
Warm down: Jogged for 10-15 min. What limited your ability to perform faster: Execution. Event comments: Light on water and food at the finish despite not an overwhelming turnout for the run. Nice schwag though--long sleeve t-shirt plus a hat & gloves. Last updated: 2008-10-22 12:00 AM
