Anybody been watching this show on the Food Network? New episodes air on Sunday nights but they replay it a few times during the week. I thought it was going to be stupid but I really, really like it! I look forward to it more than I do the Biggest Loser - ouch, BL.

I've been watching it.  I enjoy it.  It's interesting, but I think he plays up the ex-con thing a bit too much.  Maybe that's just my naive opinion.  I missed the most recent episode.  I'll have to catch one of the replays.

I thought the whole "hood" and "ghetto fabulous" thing was going to be annoying but it really isn't bothering me too much. I think I just like how he balances professionalism with the reality of the situation that these people are in and how their whole perspective on the world is being flipped upside-down with his program. And I like how they're not kicking people off every week, as they do with every other reality TV show. It's a really neat concept.

Maybe it was just when I watched the last time that it really bothered me.  Of course, he might be doing that to stress that he really had to work in order to get where he is and they shouldn't throw away the opportunity.  I'll have to see how I feel after the next episode.

I do like that he's giving the people on the show real training and really trying to help them rather than kicking them off every week.  It is a neat concept and I hope they stick through to the end.
