I remember reading that they held a kids race prior to the Lake Placid race this year. Does anyone know if they have a kids race at louisville?

 Yeah, last year it was called Ironman Canada.

 Haha.  Seriously though, I don't think they had one last year.  I don't remember hearing or seeing anything about it.

AT IMOO, they have a kids race the day before. Its not a triathlon though. Its just a run around the square and the kids get medals. Mike Riley is on the mic bringing them as well.

They did the same thing at LP this year. When I was there in 2006 it was a swim/run, but I think the swim was too much of a hassle for them to deal with.
