On tuesday I pulled a muscle in my left calf. This was the only gift Rickey could afford to get me for my birthday, so there was no way in hell I was missing it. At first, the pain was harsh...but once I started "limping" running...it was bareable. I found it funny that I was limping the whole way, and was still passing people...most of whom looked like they were in better shape than me.

They changed the course this year, and not for the better...On one of the paved trail sections, the walkers and runners are both on a very narrow and it made it difficult...then there is this metal narrow pedestrian tunel...and the bottle neck was terrible. They really need to rethink the course change next year.
