Hey, i'm new to triathlon training, and I would like to find some folks in the northern kentucky area who can offer suggestions, or may even want to train with me as well.  Also, any suggestions on good initial races to start?

Anybody in the Northern Ky want to get together on the weekend and do a long run?  Right now I'm only up to 3 miles but could do more if I had a/few running partners.

I'll be visiting Hebron, KY this weekend and need to do a 14-mile run. Anyone got any good route suggestions? Also, if anyone is up for joining me, feel free. I run 10-minute miles when I go for distance.

Also, will be moving up there probably sometime in July, and would totally be interested in getting a N. KY tri-club going. I emailed Cincy Express a while back and never even got a response out of them.

I'm pretty hardcore (although am NOT fast by any means). Just did my 2nd 70.3 this weekend in Texas and am training for Ironman Coeur d'Alene! Ack!

There is this route (England-Idlewild Park, Burlington, KY)  which I found on Cincinnati running club website but I've never been there.  I wouldn't be able to run that far but could join you for part of it...what time of day you run?

I prefer running in the morning also...when I run at night my calves hurt and I get a side stitch go figure.  Would 8am be early enough?

I know there is a park off 237 Camp Ernst though I looked for it on google map and didn't see...but I know its there...I used to live out there.  Its a loop path, paved and its for runners and bikes.  I'll find out the name and let you know.

Ok at this point I think I'm gonna have to get up super early to get my run in before we have to leave for Louisville, so will probably just go from where I'm staying. I'm also hoping to beat the rain, if that happens! But I will be back, so let's keep working on this running route stuff and maybe getting a N. KY group together once I"m there.

Bump! Interested in some training partners especially in trying to find some open water swims. Doing Ironman Steelhead 70.3 in August and looking at B2B Half in Oct maybe. Hit me up! rtbrown82[at]gmail.com
