Subject: Mystic YMCA tri swimming and masters programs

Just a FYI, the Mystic YMCA is starting a master's program for the winter session.  It's Monday's and Wednesday's 7:30-8:30 and $70 members/140 non members.

Also they have a triathlon swim trianing class on Mon/Wed from 6:30-7:30.  Same prices as masters.  

Started today.  I plan to check it out probably Wednesday or Monday next week.

Is that AM or PM?..I don't do the masters program in East Lyme..Its at 6am in the morning..I don't have enough motivation to get out of bed that early in the morning on a regular basis to jump in a cold pool!

How do you guys like the program? I do Saturdays in Westerly and the coach/workouts are great.

I'm taking the tri swim class since there isn't child care during the master's.  So far, so good.  Lots of drills which is good for me since I never do any!  Hopefully as the class goes on, I'll pick up some speed.  I want speed!   I am still thinking of coming to masters up in Westerly too.  Is it usually crowded in the slow lane?

Hardly, normally a lane or two open, I think the Tues/Thurs evenings are busy however.
