Mine is vintage, like all my rides: 1075 Honda CB400F,  1982 Raleigh Grand Prix, 1978 Datsun 620 King Cab.

1075 was a good year for Honda.  Dude, when you say "vintage," you ain't playing around!

I'm gonna try this again and see if I can include the pic of my 1975 Honda CB400F!

I've wanted one for as long as I can remember. But I have a serious problem with speed. Put me in/on something fast and I'll go as fast as it'll let me. My wife, and knowing she is right, won't let me get one.

Moto rider here. I currently own a 07' Yamaha XT225 for commuting. Next bike is in my avatar. V-Strom 650 or 1000. I would also love one of these:

I always wanted a montser. But the hypermotard makes my undies messy.

I did tell my wife that the day our second kid graduates College, I'm buying a motorcycle. If she want's to leave me over it, fine but by then I'll have out lived the reason she says I'm not allowed to have one. Being around to support the family and such.

I might recommend a quote by HST.  Oh, wait, it's in your sig line.

The last one I owned could hardly be considered a motorcycle, but it was a blast to zip around on - a Yamaha YSR50 - a tiny little 5 speed 50cc two stroke that would about 53mph topped out if I put my chin down on the tank to get below the fairing.

I have one of those too.  I love those little bikes!  Mine can only get up to < 50mph.  I tried to break the 65mph barrier.  After boring it to 60cc, new piston, big carb, pipe, reed, it end up running at maximum of.. pushing speed.

I just have to wait till after my kids are grown. And besides, by then my motor might be getting tired so a little help would be good.

The owner of the first bike shop I worked in was a Ducati junkie. During the winter we would tear apart and port&polish/time/rebuild engines for his racing buddies. That's when the bug really hit. I almost bought a totaled monster to rebuild, but was told I'd have to start paying my parent's the going rent for the apartment I was living in on their property if I did. Being a broke college kid at the time, I opted for having free room and board.

I walked past my 748 earlier and she asked me why I have been ignoring her.  I can't ride right now due to surgery.

I'm old and I'm slow, but I'm also determined and finally I figured out how to post the pic of two of my vintage rides.  1975 (not 1075) Honda CB400F, and my trusty 1978 Datsun 620 king cab pickup.  My other vintage ride is my 1982 steel frame Raleigh Grand Prix. (pics later).  It's like me: Old and a little on the heavy side, but I still usually wind up pulling my 39 yr. old son and his friends back from our 30 mile ride on Sundays.  By the way they all have new Trek, alum and carbon frame bikes!

Dude your springer is bad a$$. I am mixed. In fact I have your model springer as my desktop image here at work. I don't have a good pic of my bike here. I love chrome but I also love the blacked out cross bones.

The bike is great and one of the best parts is that I only have one seat. No one on the back makes for a great ride!!! LOL

Last labor day, my old boss finally let me take a spin on his 996SPS, mostly because it's his old bike now, replaced by a 1098R. Scary fast is all I can say. When I was working at the shop he topped it out at 156mph in 5th gear. BTW Sigma bike computers will go up to something like 200mph. We had one mounted on the bike and figured out the wheel diameter. It let him see his max speed after he was done so he wasn't trying to look at the speedo while going that fast.

The speedo on my FJ1100 would read up to 270 kph, about 165 mph. I don't know how accurate it was but I saw the needle buried on two separate occasions. There were a number of after-market mods on the bike by then though.

wow. didn't figure a motorcycle thread here.
But yup, novice motorcyclist here. Funny, wouldn't have thought seriously about getting one again (I did once and had my learner's permit but before I bought a bike a best friend and experienced rider was killed on his bike) if it not had been for getting into cycling.
Been only riding for about 7 months, and have only logged about 5300 miles.
already up to two bikes... Sometimes it's not so bad being single...

07 Suzuki SV650 naked with some custom paint
08 Aprilia Shiver SL750 another naked V-twin. I think I'm in love with this Italian.

Wish i could post some pics from work.

now what's messed up is I'm spending all my free time motoring around instead of pedaling/training!

I've got my Honda Nighthawk 450SC gathering dust in the garage.  fits me perfectly.  I stopped riding when I outgrew my leathers while pregnant 4 years ago...  Hard to make/find time to ride with 2 little kiddos.

DH has a Yahama Vision 550.

I guess we ride dinosaurs.
