Pre-race routine:

Woke up around 3:00am. Yes, that's right, 3:00am. Had a couple bowls of raisin bran and got gear ready.
Event warmup:

None.

Comments:

This was my first Marathon, so I took time to get picture with characters and take it all in. Real time excluding time for pictures was 6:22:37 or an 14.45 mpm pace.
What would you do differently?:

I would bring a snack since we were at the start line at ~4:30am and the race did not start until 5:50am. I would also like to drop some weight being at 275 lbs and running for that duration/mileage took its toll on my body.
Post race
Warm down:

Staggered back to the buses to go back to the hotel. Wish they marked where the buses were more clearly. I walked back to where we were dropped off to find they were back by the tents.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Weight and time required to take picture with characters.

Event comments:

I would recommend this race to anyone, first timer or not. The only thing I did not like was the WALKERS! We got bottlenecked due to the walkers. I am really getting to not like the walkers. They just did not seem to have the eddicate that most runners have.
