Veteran 159 Seattle | Subject: RE: Do you pee in the pool? i always get out of the pool.. always always always. if you don't you always should :-) it's simply a matter of respecting those around you - imagine how mad i would make you if i walked up to you on the street and went on your leg. it's the same deal in a pool, even if it's cleaner than water or killed by the chemicals in the pool water. my 2 cents anyway :-) |

I think the indicators are people that have been swimming laps and laps and all of a sudden stop at the end of the pool looking bewildered and kids as mentioned above. I think it happens more than we think, yet there are probably worse things in the pool besides pee. I sometimes see bandaids that make me sick to my stomach because at least I can't see the pee. |

You wanna get up in arms about something, tell your poolmates to get out of the pool to blow the nose or spit, both of which are far more infectious; dangerous; or gross.
