You mean there is more to life than working to pay for triathlon gear, training and racing...?

We're allowed to talk about this here?!

Just kidding.

Backpacking, playing guitar, trying to surf, reading a TON (I'm an English Lit grad student...), writing lit papers with pretentious-sounding titles, tutoring college math students, watching The Daily Show with my roommates, going to places like Whole Foods... a lot...

Well I USED to be a well rounded person...had a lot of creative pursuits including watercolour painting, quilting and gardening........but now I just train.

I would say my main hobby now is trying to stuff enough food in my face at any given time. Does that count?

Now my life revolves around eat/train/work/eat more/train more...some house work

I stay pretty busy with work and training.  Other than that, I read some (not enough), work on the farm and very rarely ride one of my lazy horses.  The farm thing is a huge time commitment in the summer.  Seems that I'm always mowing grass somewhere.

Does home improvement count as a hobby? Seems like I'm either training or doing projects around the house these days.

I used to play womens over 30 soccer but kept getting hurt..rough crowd seriously I was in two games when fights broke out and that was so not what I wanted out of soccer...so it interfered with my tri training.

But tri training takes up most of my time.

Yep, I can now add soccer, volleyball, softball and skiing to my list of hobbies I no longer participate in -- tired of recovering from injuries!  Getting back to tennis this summer and hope to get the veggie garden up and growing again, if I have the time.
