Tempe Int'l Triathlon - Wetsuit?

Member  61  Chandler, AZ |  Subject: Tempe Int'l Triathlon - Wetsuit?Anyone else participating in the Tempe Int'l Triathlon (http://www.tucsonracing.com/TATinf.htm) on May 17th? I'm planning on doing the spring (my first tri) and I'm not sure if I should spend the extra money on renting a wetsuit...I know it will help with buoyancy, but I'm only doing the sprint (400M) and by May the water should be approaching 70 degrees. Thoughts? Thanks! |

I wouldn't hassle with it unless you want/ need the extra security. Lots of us will be out there! Come out for some OWS' and make some friends beforehand! |

On topic - water is warm and no strippers so unless you need the floatation, go without the suit! |

I am committed to doing these with you guys so I am going to change my schedule so that I will always be off on that day. I will have to work every saturday because of it, but it's worth it to me. |

In the past it has alwys been on Thursday. However, I am not sure why - prbably some issue with standswithfist or something. |
