Extreme Veteran  436  |  Subject: Post your 2009 race scheduleI figured it would be cool if everyone posted their anticipated 2009 race schedule so we can maybe make a meet at some race and make it a BT thing. My is pretty short as of now... April--Port Huron Adventure race May--Probably nothing June 7--Monroe either HIM or Sprint (not sure yet) July--?????? August--?????? I'm still finalizing my list. I also have the battle of Waterloo on it (not signed up yet) I just have to figure out how to swim across a lake with my gear and decide if I think I'll be ready by August (plus it's pretty expensive). |

What, I live in Davison and it's a small town. I have not heard of any races around here. Is this posted somewhere? There is also a Davidson south of here a bit. |

Oh my, I just looked it up, it's like two miles from my house. I mean I can leave my house and only drink one beer driving down to the boat launch. There has been nothing in the area news or local rags about this. Well I will be there to support anyone that needs it. Man, a cool race just down the road |

Sure anything I can do. My wife and I talked about this over supper and think we have the areas figured out. Since most of the areas are private and given the 12-15 miles of paddleing invloved. I am almost sure you will leave the boat launch and hed to what we locals call Zimmermans point. Give me a few days, like over the weekend and I will work up some Google earth points for you to look at. I see they mention the camp location. I can tell you that the Comfort Inn in davison on Lapeer road right around 10 miles from the launch with only 3 turns. |
