- Aero helmet will probably be faster so why not?
- Aero helmet in this case may actually be slower.
- Aero helmet on a road bike is a one-way ticket to Dorkville.

Opinions please.

In order for an aero helmet to be faster you must attain and maintain proper body positioning. If you cannot than it can be slower. Would that be the road bike with the reflectors and basket on the handlebars?

If sitting upright on the hoods it could actually be slower yes? It's a very technical course, i doubt I would be on the aero bars for very long.
