Sorry for the errant post - The files are not attaching, they may be too big (~50 meg).

This thread could also have been titled "How not to swim".  The footage was shot at a recent swim clinic.  I was not real impressed by the clinic, but got this neat CD of myself swimming.  So, I am soliciting advice, critique, and opinions from all the swim coaches in the crowd (actual and arm-chair) on all aspects of technique.

The two files are from when we first got in the pool and after drills to correct our imperfections.  I already see some things I need to correct and have been working on -

1.  higher turnover, not as much glide between strokes,

2.  higher elbow, use my whole forearm as a paddle,

3.  keep my feet closer together, dvelop a  more rhythmic kick, and

4.  transplant some hair off my back onto the top of my head

Is there somewhere we can see this to give you some tips? I`ve always wanted to film my stroke. Take advantage of the opportunity!
