But I also fall into that "First 50 that say they will swim under 7:30. If you don't it is a DQ" bunch ......

I wasn't that crazy.

I think I put 8:15 and will probably be closer to 9:00-9:10. I'm slooowwww in the water. I think I'm scheduled for 7:41am.

I put in a 7:20 as I mentioned before. I can do that if I'm in the water, but the run to the lane and back is going to eat up some time, and that has me worried.

I actually just e-mailed the RD to see if wetsuits are allowed ........ then I wouldn't be worrying about the time!

Darn Rick I was hoping for a wetsuit legal race

I ended up doing a 400M TT this morning in the pool after about 1100 yards of working out and ended up doing a 7:02 pace. Now I'm going to tick it down a little bit since this was more of an "all out" sorta effort. I'm shooting for around 7:20ish for the swim.

CJ, you are seeded right next to my wife's friend Julie (one number different).

And I'm seeded right next to one of the other people in our little "group" that is doing the race.

I hope I'm recovered enough. Right now my legs are all f'ed up. Sucks getting old .....

Nice race, I looked up the results on the site.

Looks like you were 2nd place overall, 1st in your AG. Great splits on the Bike and Run!

Joe has owned this race for years. I think next year you need to beat him.
