Subject: No longer a crash virgin!!!

Heh, there was a thread just last week, have you crashed? My response was, not yet. Weeeeellllll........

At mile 45 of a 46 or so mile ride, so I was at the end and just wanted to get back to the gym and off the bike, coming up to a light. All set up, bunch of cars waiting, two cyclists ahead of me, light re.... OK, it'll change soon, I'm sick of unclipping....... I'll just.... time... it... uh oh, it's not changing... I'm... slowing ...down.... and now leaning to the right.... this... is... gonna... hurt....

OK, no big whoop, nice raspberry on the knee and hurt pride

. Cyclists ask if I was OK, sheepishly, "yep."

I guess I am now part of the club!

I celebrated by going to the tri shop and buying a wetsuit

I joined the club last month...Unfortunately I was going about 25. Crashing is crashing, and its no fun. Fortunately only one car saw me and they kept going. Wont be the last Im sure. Good luck!

I also managed to crash today after selecting "Not Yet" in the poll the other day - I KNEW it was going to give me bad luck!!! The worst part is that I crashed in front of about 8 people that I had never ridden with before and looked like a total moron...

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who joined the club after filling out that poll
