Comments: I am thrilled with my performance in this race. I reached my goal and I had a really good race throughout the entire course. I set a sub 2 hour run as a goal months ago and to accomplish that is a huge thing for me. This is one of the most rewarding races I have had. What would you do differently?: Nothing Post race
Warm down: Walked around a bit, ate a banana and drank some water What limited your ability to perform faster: I'm slow Last updated: 2008-12-20 12:00 AM

Got up at five and had a bagel w/peanut butter. Bobby got to my house at 6 and we left for the race. I had an indescribable feeling of calmness all morning (Bobby had enough nervous energy for both of us). I trusted the training I had done and I knew that my goal of going sub 2:00 was very well possible.
The weather was damn near perfect. It was cool and no sun coming down on us. The little rain we had was actually refreshing.
