Alpharetta, Georgia | Subject: Biggest Loser Finale - SPOILERS For those still watching on the west coast let's start our own thread. So? Whad'ya think? I was pretty surprised Helen won the whole dang thing. She looks great, no doubt. I just thought Mike or Tara would beat her. Kind of anti-climactic with Helen weighing in first, and Tara just standing there looking dumbfounded at the end. And, go Jerry! Loved Kristin's hair and new look. |

Expert 749 Oakland, Fl | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Finale - SPOILERS That was a looooooong 3 hours. Thank goodness for bike shopping in the meantime, while listening.....Roubaix or Tarmac...LOL Yes, it was anticlimatic for both the $100K and $250K. Go Jerry...he amazed me, for only being on the ranch 2 weeks. Kristen's hair looked much better then her skunk style she was sporting. The one young kid (forgot name)....did he forget what he was on the show for? He lost 4X #'s, but I figure he should have been able to more, like his buddy. I guess it's the will power. In fact, when he was brought back onto the show that one episode, he was at 40lbs down, looks like he didn't do anything after that show. Oh well, who am I to judge?? |

Tara looked great and I think it's awesome she won so many challenges but I like Mike. |

Master 1882 Chandler, Arizona | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Finale - SPOILERS Watching now with one hour left. How on earth did Jerry win the 100k challenge? I don't want to be a skeptic but this show has done so much to loose my trust in what they're portraying. Any chance he had bariatic surgery? IDK, maybe I'm an azzhole but I can't take anything I see on this show at face value. |

Heck, I'd starve myself, dehydrate, cut weight like a boxer, and shave my head to save the extra couple of ounces if that's what it took to win $250,000. I can always eat and rehydrate in the morning. |

I had to stop TWICE more for 30 and 15 minutes and still had to watch live. Holy crap. Talk about 3 hrs of show that could have been done in 15 mins! |

Extreme Veteran 586 Edgewater, CO | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Finale - SPOILERS Oh my goodness me I never would have guessed the outcomes. Tara looked STUNNED. I think she thought she had the 160 pounds she needed. Big kudos to Jerry and Helen! And with that, I think I am done with this show. As I've said many times, it used to be inspirational, interesting, etc. Now, it is just a bunch of talking and drama that I ff through most of. |

Sensei Sin City | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Finale - SPOILERS I didn't read any of the other post as to not spoil it. I still have 15 minutes to go till the end. BUT a couple things. Boy did they stretch this out. I didn't start watching it untill two hours passed and I STILL was able to get through the first couple hours in about 30 mintues with the magic of fast forward on the DVR. Second, no mention about the 'marathon' controversy. Still claimed he did it and had 'medals' to prove it. Third, WAY TO GO JERRY! Fourth. Kristin, I need to thank the person who finally gave you a cool hair doo... No more skunk head. Mike looks great. Tara look REALLY good... Now back downstairs to see the winner.... |

Sensei Sin City | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Finale - SPOILERS Ha! I said so much the same stuff as everyone else and never even looked at it. Sort of feeling 'meh' about Helen winning... Good for her, I guess. MAN there were so many commercials too. I seriously cut the entire 3 hours to about 35-40 minutes. I watched the Giro instead! Booyah! Edited by Aikidoman 2009-05-13 1:04 AM |

Master 1390 Ferndale, MI | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Finale - SPOILERS Did Dane and Blaine really do a half marathon, full marathon and half iron in three weeks? Is that what I heard him say??? Agree on Helen looking sickly. I think her final week was made up of laxatives and a grape for nutrition. |

Is that what I heard him say??? Agree on Helen looking sickly. I think her final week was made up of laxatives and a grape for nutrition. Somebody wrote on another thread that they did the County Music Marathon & Wildflower HIM. I don't know what half-marathon they completed. I completely agree about Helen. She looked so unhealthy. That is a problem I have with this show; as the show is all about dropping pounds and not about becoming healthy. |

Expert 1195 Shelby Twp | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Finale - SPOILERS I went to bed around 9:30, figured I would watch the last half hour off the dvr in the morning, I was surprised to find the show was 3 hours?!!!!!!! I whipped through the last 1.5 hours in about 5 minutes though. Come on... 3 hours? I am still not sure why they insist on making this show so long. I like it and all, but if I didnt have the dvr, my ADD would take over in the first half hour every week |

Expert 1603 Westchester, NY | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Finale - SPOILERS Apparently wife and I are in the minority as we thought Kristen looked like a train wreck. Anything is better then the skunk look she had but she just cannot get it right. It's like she is trying to distract you from the fact that she still has a ton of weight to lose. Helen winning...good for her, but from a "fan" perspective it was a let down. Highlight of the waaaay too long night was definitely Jerry and his lifting Jillian off her feet. |

Pro 4824 Houston | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Finale - SPOILERS I don't think Kristen looked good either - her hair is so over processed it was fuzzy! We all agree the skunk look had to go but I liked the do they gave her at the ranch. As far as Helen winning I agree she looked horrible and it just might send the wrong message but you know what? I would have done the same thing. 117 isn't healthy for just about anyone over 5 feet tall. I am 5'9" and 'could' get down to 125. Would I look good? No. Would it be healthy? No. Would I do it for 250K? You betcha! It's not a fitness contest, It's the BIGGEST LOSER! Body fat isn't even mentioned so what would be the incentive of putting on pounds of muscle? We can only hope her trainers said "listen, we'll get you skinny but you need to promise after she show you'll get healthy" True it sends the wrong message but open a magazine, turn on the TV, the 'wrong message' is everywhere. |

Alpharetta, Georgia | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Finale - SPOILERS KeriKadi - 2009-05-13 8:31 AM I117 isn't healthy for just about anyone over 5 feet tall. Wholeheartedly disagree on this particular point. It completely depends on body composition, muscle tone, body fat percentage etc. I am 5'6" and weigh 120 pounds (usually 118 by race day)- am I not healthy? I'm going to go against the grain here and say Helen looked good. I think what we are all seeing is simply a huge excess of SKIN hanging off her body. It happens when you loose over 100 lbs, especially when you are older - the skin wrinkles as it hangs off the body. No way around that other than surgery. Her arms looked the same (skin-flappy-wise) as Jerry's, but I don't hear anyone saying he looked sickly? OH and I think Tara's hair took a turn for the worse last night. WTH?
