Got there a little late. Barely had time to setup transition before they kicked me out.

Comments:

This was the longest I have ever swam in my life. I thought it was never going to end. Then rounding the last buoy the guy next to me punched me in the side of the head. It was a pretty closed fist for it to be accidental. I was too tired to care.

What would you do differently?:

Mark the course myself.

Comments:

The bike was an average ride. I didn't have a ton of power since I raced a mtn bike race the day before. I had fun and still maintained a decent pace.

OUCH! Too hot! I was running 7 min mile pace for the first couple, but then started to fade.

What would you do differently?:

Run when it was cooler. LOL

Warm down:

walk around and get Luke and Larissa snacks.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

racing a mountain bike race the day before, I suck at swimming, and it was hot. LOL

Event comments:

I just can't believe an event as large as this can't get the distances right. Only 1 out of 3 was even close to being the correct distance. Especially when everyone has GPS devices now, you would think they would try to get it right.

Course:	The course was 2 loops around the lake. This felt very humid next to the lake. I was not a fan. Then it started to get super hot. I did like having the stairs on the course. I cruised up them and on the second lap I passed a number of people going up them.
